July 31, 2007 STRIKE APPOINTS VICE PRESIDENT FINANCE AND CORPORATE SERVICES Calgary, AB, Canada July 31, 2007 - - Stephen D. Smith, President & CEO of Strike Energy Services Inc. (Strike) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Michael J. Tumback as the company’s Vice President Finance and Corporate Services effective July 1, 2007. Mr. Tumback comes to Strike with over 26 years of increasingly senior financial and operational positions in the accounting, oil and gas construction services and general contracting industries. Over the years, Michael has developed his skills at many well recognized organizations including Arthur Anderson, Lafarge Construction and Flint Canada Inc. Most recently, Michael was the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of CANA Construction Ltd.
