May 23, 2006 STRIKE AQUIRES LAND IN BALZAC Calgary, AB, Canada May 23, 2006 - - Stephen D. Smith, President & CEO, Strike Energy Services Inc., announced today that the company has acquired a land parcel which is located in the newly developed Wagon Wheel Industrial Park at Balzac, AB. The new development will accommodate office and shop space for Strike’s Project Group and the launching of the companies fifth Business UnitConstruction of the new facility is presently in the architectural phase. Construction is scheduled to commence immediately. The new Business Unit aligns with the companies corporate strategic plan and is a direct response to the ongoing requirements of our customers. Strike presently operates from Business Units located in High Level, Whitecourt, Edson and Calgary. Strike is a private, employee owned, non-union, Alberta based oil and gas construction and service company.
