Wayne Pawsey began his career with Flint Engineering and Construction in 1973 as a graduate of the Civil Engineering Technology program at the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology and immediately entered the company's Supervisor and Management Training Program.

Over the next few years he advanced to the position of Operations Centre Manager and held this position at various Flint Canada Inc. locations over several years. Such locations included High Level, Lloydminster and Whitecourt. In 1992 he was promoted to General Manager, Southern Operations and relocated to Calgary. In 1996 Wayne lead Flint's Northern Regions as Vice President of Northern Operations and in 1999 moved to Vice President, Alliances and Special Projects with the new publicly traded company, Flint Energy Service Ltd. In 2000 Wayne relocated to Red Deer as General Manager of Mechanical Services, and in 2002 he moved to Sherwood Park as General Manager of Field Projects. Wayne has actively participated in community associations in many of the several locations he has resided.

Wayne is a Certified Civil Engineering Technologist (CET) and has senior management training from the American Management Association (AMA). Over the years he has acquired extensive training in business, safety and project management. He has been instrumental in the development of many company programs and initiatives. Wayne has extensive experience in all aspects of maintenance and construction services to the Oil and Gas industry.

In July 2004, Wayne joined Strike Energy Services Inc. as Vice President, Projects Group and is currently the Vice President of Southeast Operations.
